Expat Club delivers great value for money for its events in Brussels and its daytrips to every corner of Belgium and many destinations in surrounding countries. We travel with luxury coaches with extra leg space, you’ll be served some drinks and snacks, we arrange professionally guided tours, reserve lunches and diners, and organise (group) entrance to museums or other places. Most important you’ll enjoy this day with like-minded expats who love doing the same things that you do. Wouldn’t it be great if you could join these trips and save some money? Here are a few tips to pay less for your next Expat Club daytrip:
- New member discounts
- Early bird discounts
- Newsletter discounts
- Child discounts
- Special discounts
- Group discounts
New member discount
The quickest way to save €10 on your next trip is to simply register for free for official Expat Club membership. All of our events are open to non-members, but only members will receive a special €10 discount code that they can apply within 30 days of their new membership to any upcoming daytrip. Early bird discounts
All our daytrips offer special early bird fees. You can save 15-25% (about €7,50 to €20) simply by booking your spot on time. The events page shows the early bird fee and until when it is available. Normally the lower fees apply until 7-10 days in advance of the trip. So be that early bird and catch that worm!
Newsletter discounts: 24 or 48 hours
You can now also enjoy super special very early bird rates for newly published events. Once these trips are communicated through our weekly newsletter on Tuesday morning you have either 24 or 48 hours to enjoy the super special rate. After that the “regular” early bird rate will still apply. So all you have to do is to read our newsletter, check the new events, copy the discount code, and secure your super cheap spot by reserving with the time limit.
Expat Club regularly welcomes children on our coaches. We believe that your expat social life doesn’t have to stop or became less fun when you have a family. We offer fees that are generally 30% lower for children up to 16 years. To book such tickets, first add one or more adult tickets to the cart. On the next page you will see the child ticket on the lower right. Add this to the cart and eventually increase the quantity of tickets followed by “update cart”.
For a few specific groups of expats we would like to extend a generous 25% discount on the base fare (early bird and regular fees apply). If you belong to any of these categories, you should contact us before booking at firstname.lastname@example.org:
- officially registered students up to 26 years at the time of travel (official documents always required)
- officially unemployed people or those on welfare (official documents always required)
- 2nd time travellers, so for those who travel with us on exactly the same trip (e.g. Champagne or Sailing)
- those who had to cancel last-minute (without refund)
With 4 or more adults traveling together on the same trip you can get a 10% discount on the base fee if you book for all 4 together. If you manage to convince 10 friends or colleagues to join on a fun daytrip you get even 15% off the base fee and you travel for free yourself (11th person). Isn’t that a great deal? We are working on an automatic discount during the checkout process, but until then you should simply send us an email at email@example.com.
Last minutes discounts
Probably the most often requested discount, but we can be clear about it that Expat Club doesn’t offer last-minute fares. Waiting until the very last day is therefore not advised. In fact, during the last week the price is generally higher, so it’s better to book early anyway.
Note: discounts only apply to the base fee. Additional items, such as lunches and dinners, museum entrances or extra guided tours do not qualify for discounts. Some discounts cannot be used in conjunction with others, such as newsletter discounts and group discounts. The information on this page is subject to change and does not give the right to a discount. Discounts that are not applied correctly (e.g. for a child of 17 years or to someone who is not unemployed) will have to be paid before the start of the event. Special discounts do not apply to the Disneyland trip.
