Ramble = a relaxed journey on foot for exercise or pleasure (Merriam Webster)
Let’s enjoy the Brussels’ winter!
Join Expat Club on nice Sunday morning walks of about 2 hours through different parts of the city, its parks and surrounding forests or nature. The pace is about 4-5 km/h on average so not too fast but certainly not a stroll either. You can wear normal sports shoes but when it rains it may be better to have proper walking shoes. Please take some water (1 – 1,5 liters + some snacks).
How to get to the starting point?
By metro:
• line 1: switch from metro to tram at Montgomery, get off the tram at the Trammuseum/Musée du Tram stop.
• line 5: get off at Hermann-Debroux, switch to tram 94 in the direction of Trammuseum/Musée du Tram. Get off at the terminus.
By tram (lines 39, 44 or 94): get off at Trammuseum/Musée du Tram.
By bus (lines 36 or 42): get off at Trammuseum/Musée du Tram.
New guides wanted
If you love walking, why not becoming part of our members’ hosting team? Together with a few other expats (4-6) you will ensure that we can put the Brussels Ramble on our calendar regularly or even weekly. This way you don’t have the burden to always be the one who needs to show up, but you can share the walks between a group of people.
