AAAAAAAND, WE’RE BACK! AFTER COUNTLESS SUCCESSFUL EDITIONS IN 2013-2014, EXPAT CLUB WILL PUT THE BRUSSELS RAMBLE AGAIN ON THE CALENDAR 🙂

Ramble = a relaxed journey on foot for exercise or pleasure (Merriam Webster)

Let’s enjoy the Brussels’ winter!

Join Expat Club on nice Sunday morning walks of about 2 hours through different parts of the city, its parks and surrounding forests or nature. The pace is about 4-5 km/h on average so not too fast but certainly not a stroll either. You can wear normal sports shoes but when it rains it may be better to have proper walking shoes.

For this ramble we walk through the Bois de la Cambre towards the Sonian Forest (Forêt de Soignes). Enjoy the fresh air and the beauty of this amazing backyard of Brussels. There are a few small hills but not too steep. Please don’t forget to bring a bottle of water and a snack with you.

Meeting point
We will be meeting at the very end of Avenue Louise, at the entrance of Bois de la Cambre. You can get there easily with trams 7 or 93/94, stop at Legrand / Louise. Then walk about 100 meters towards the roundabout. We are waiting slightly behind the left building. You could also take any of the busses going to Chaussee de Waterloo and get off at Bascule (38, 136, 137 and 365) and walk through the Avenue Legrand towards Avenue Louise, then turn right. And finally, you could take busses 25 and 71 towards Buyl, then walk towards the park on Avenue Lloyd George that ends at the roundabout. Please note that we will leave exactly at 10h30 so please do not come late.
