Do you get stressed by the quantity of tasks and demands that you are facing every day?
Do you have difficulties focusing on what you are doing?
Are you wondering how you can find some peace of mind amid all the busy-ness?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, this FREE EVENT event may be right for you. Expat Club invited Steve Savels for a special workshop on mindfulness. Steve is a registered psychologist with a Masters Degree in Work & Organisational Psychology (University of Ghent, 1998), and a co-founder of the Brussels Mindfulness Institute.
In this introductory mindfulness workshop, you will discover:
- How to respond adequately to stressful situations, so you will feel calmer and more focused.
- How to stay sane in challenging circumstances and deal effectively with stress.
- How to find inner calm and contentment in order to live a meaningful and joyful life.Â
This will be an interactive workshop in which you will learn more on how stress works, what its effects are and how mindfulness can help you to deal better with it. You will learn some practical exercises and you will get some tools that you can immediately use in your own work and private life.Â

About Steve Savels
Steve has been coaching and supporting people in (international) organisations for over 15 years. He has worked as an expat in Africa himself, and has been working with expats for several years. Since 2010 he has established a private life coaching practice in Brussels and has been helping hundreds of people to find peace of mind and move on to the life they really enjoy.
He is very curious and passionate about how the human mind works. His own personal development, both on an intellectual and broader human level is in that regard also very important to him. He is constantly keeping himself up-to-date about the developments in his field (psychology, mindfulness, coaching, …). He also finds inspiration in more philosophical literature, history, art and culture. In the last few years he has been studying intensively with both national and international teachers. This has brought him many valuable insights and he loves passing them on to others. Steve regularly gives talks and workshops for companies, organisations, associations, clubs and networks.
