Friday 8 November 2019
From 19h30 until 21h30
The Louise Center (Expat Club offices)
Avenue Louise 279 (Vleurgat intersection)
Overview
Do you love whisky, or did you always want to learn more about this special spirit? With so many whiskies to choose from, it is really hard to understand the difference. Expat Club found a great solution, because we have again invited Richard Van Nieuwenhoven, a whisky expert from The Netherlands. He is also the founder and organiser behind The Spirit of Brussels, a one-day Whisky Festival taking place in The Holland House on Place Luxembourg on Saturday 7 December.
During a two-hours Masterclass Richard will teach you more about the history of whisky and how it is produced. He will also explain the differences between whisky producing countries, and the jargon used for judging whiskies. This time he will again introduce six new amazing (single malt) whiskies, different ones from the first MasterClass in March (see pictures). Besides a complimentary whisky dram for you to take home, you will also receive a special chocolate-whisky gift. After this MasterClass whisky tasting you can safely find your way through the wonderful world of whisky….
Included
- 2-hours MasterClass in an inspiring environment
- Tasting of 6 high-quality whiskies
- A free whisky dram for you to take home
- A free whisky gift
- A great group of international people
- A lifetime expat memory
Who can join?
We welcome anyone with an interest in whisky. You don’t have to be an expat, neither do you have to be a member. Expat Club is a friendly community that is open for everyone who wants to do fun and interesting things with other international minds. Obviously the minimum age for this event is 18 years.
Location
We are meeting in the Expat Club offices in The Louise Center on Avenue Louise 279. You are welcome from 19h00, but we actually start at 19h30. Trams 8 and 93, bus 38 and 60, Vleurgat/Louise stop.
