Friday 1 March
From 19h30 until 21h30
The Louise Center (Expat Club offices)
Avenue Louise 279 (Vleurgat corner)
Overview
Do you love whisky, or did you always want to learn more about this special spirit? With so many whiskies to choose from, it is really hard to understand the difference. Expat Club found a great solution, because we have invited Richard Van Nieuwenhoven, a whisky expert from the Netherlands. He is also the person behind The Spirit of Brussels, a one-day Whisky Festival taking place in The Holland House on Place Luxembourg on 6 April.
Richard will introduce six amazing (malt) whiskies. During a two-hours Masterclass he will teach you more about the history of whisky and how it is produced. He will also explain the differences between whisky producing countries, and the jargon used for judging whiskies. Needless to say you will also get the chance to taste various whiskies. After this Masterclass whisky tasting you can safely find your way through the wonderful world of whisky….
Included
- 2-hours Masterclass in an inspiring environment
- Tasting of various whiskies
Who can join?
We welcome anyone with an interest in whisky. You don’t have to be an expat, neither do you have to be a member. Expat Club is a friendly community that is open for everyone who wants to do fun and interesting things with other international minds. Obviously the minimum age for this event is 18.
